Aromatherapy and essential oils have become very popular as people know and understand more
about the benefits of essential oils. For as long as there has been recorded history, there has been
mention of oils used to treat and annoint. They have been used to benefit athletes, cure illnesses,
play an important part in religious ceremonies, and have even been buried with kings to take with
them into the afterlife. Some oils are fairly common and affordable, while others are, ounce for ounce,
as precious and expensive as gold.

Following is a list of Oils that I currently have in stock. The oils that I have are ISO certified pure. Most
of these oils were purchased with the intention of creating blends (which will be added later), so are
not always suitable for single-note use. As this page is a work in progress, check back often for

Bergamot - Useful for depression, stress, tension, fear, hysteria, infection (all types including
skin), anorexia, psoriasis, eczema and general convalescence. $6.90/5 ml
Blood orange - Considered the most antidepressant of the citrus oils. Used as an
antidepressant, antiseptic, antispasmodic, aphrodisiac, carminative, cordial, deodorant,
digestive, stimulant (nervous), tonic (cardiac, circulatory). $5.45/5 ml
Chamomile Roman - Useful in the treatment of aches and pains in muscles and joints.
Treatment of symptoms of PMS with Chamomile is also beneficial especially when the
symptoms are related to stress. $30.00/5 ml
Clove Stem - Effective agent for minor pains and aches (particular dental pain), and is helpful
when battling flu and colds. It is also considered to be antiseptic, diuretic, emmenagogue and
an insect repellent. $7.60/5 ml
Cypress French - Has been used to combat excessive perspiration (particularly feet),
hemorrhoids, menorrhagia, oily skin, rheumatism, and varicose veins. Aromatherapists also
commonly credit Cypress French with being a relaxing, nerve soothing essential oil. It has the
properties of an astringent and has been used in skin care applications. $11.35/5 ml
Eucalyptus Radiata - fantastic on skin ailments (Burns, blisters, wounds, insect bites, lice, and
skin infections), as well as to combat the effects of colds and the flu. There is also a history of
Eucalyptus essential oil being applied to sore muscles and joints. $15.95/5ml
Fir balsam - Used to combat the symptoms of colds - including sore muscles and chest
congestion. $9.80/5 ml
Fir needle - Reported to help with arthritis, bronchitis, colds, coughs, flu, muscle aches,
rheumatism and sinusitis. $5.45/5 ml
Geranium Egyptian - Used to help in the treatment of the following: acne, bruises, burns, cuts,
dermatitis, eczema, hemorrhoids, lice, mosquito repellant, ringworm, ulcers, breast
engorgement, edema, poor circulation, sore throat, tonsillitis, PMS, menopausal problems,
stress and neuralgia. It's reputation as an extremely versatile essential oil is well documented.

Grapefruit Pink - believed by aromatherapists to be a spiritual up-lifter, and to ease muscle
fatigue and stiffness. It is also a purifier of congested, oily and acne prone skin. Grapefruit oil is
also sometimes added to creams and lotions as a natural toner, and in some circles it is
believed to promote hair growth though there is not any medical documentation verifying this.

Helichrysum, African - Extremely respected for its skin healing properties. It is commonly
applied to burns, older sun-damaged skin, and to minimize scarring. It is very effective as an
anti-microbial agent, anti-fungal agent, and for use in creams and lotions due to its ability to

Laurel Leaf - Antiseptic, antibacterial, and anti-fungal properties are used with scars, acne
pimples, boils, scabies, etc. It is reportedly a tonic to the hair and scalp stimulating hair growth
and aiding with dandruff. $11.25/5 ml
Lavender, French - Perhaps the most commonly-known and widely-used of all essential oils,
lavender French is credited with being an analgesic, anticonvulsive, antidepressant,
antiphlogistic, antirheumatic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, antiviral, bactericide, carminative,
cholagogue, cicatrisant, cordial, cytophylactic, decongestant, deodorant, and as a diuretic.
Herbalist regards Lavender as the most useful and versatile essential oil for therapeutic
purposes. Lavender is the essential oil most commonly associated with burns and healing of
the skin. It also has antiseptic and analgesic properties which will ease the pain of a burn and
prevent infection. It also has cytophylactic properties that promote rapid healing and help
reduce scarring. The scent of Lavender is said to have a calming effect on the body and it can
be used to reduce anxiety, stress and promote sleep. Lavender French is a popular choice
amongst both aromatherapists and massage therapists for it’s combination of therapeutic
quality and pleasant floral scent. $9.55/5 ml
Orange, Sweet Dark - Antidepressant, antiseptic, antispasmodic, aphrodisiac, carminative,
cordial, deodorant, digestive, stimulant (nervous), tonic (cardiac, circulatory). It has also been
applied to combat Colds, constipation, dull skin, flatulence, the flu, gums, slow digestion, and
stress. It differs from regular orange sweet in that it is from a first pressing that enhances the
therapeutic quality. $7.05/5 ml
Origanum - Said to have the following properties: Analgesic, antirheumatic, antiseptic,
antispasmodic, antitoxic, antiviral, bactericidal, carminative, choleretic, cytophylactic,
diaphoretic, diuretic, emmenagogue, expectorant, febrifuge, fungicidal, parasiticide,
rubefacient, stimulant, tonic. Due to a high carvacol content, Origanum essential oil is
considered to be "nature's cure all" as it is reputed to have one of the best antiseptic and anti-
bactericide properties. Origanum oil can also be used as a fragrance component in soaps,
colognes and perfumes, especially men’s fragrances. $8.50/5 ml
Parsley Seed, India - Aromatherapists credit Parsley Seed essential oil with having the
following properties: antimicrobal, antirheumatic, antiseptic, astringent, carminative, diuretic,
depurative, emmenagogue, febrifuge, hypotensive, laxative, stimulant (mild), stomachic, and
uterine tonic. You will also see it used in soaps, detergents, cosmetics, and men’s colognes.

Peppermint Japanese - has long been credited as being useful in combating stomach
ailments. It is also viewed as an antispasmodic and antimicrobic agent. Of course, most people
will associate it with being a flavoring or scenting agent in foods, beverages, skin and hair care
products (where it has a cooling effect by constricting capillaries and helping with bruises and
sore joints), as well as soaps and candles. This is largely due to it’s menthol content – typically
85%. $5.80/5 ml
Pine, Long Leaf - Has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties availing it for cases of
arthritis, joint and muscle aches, gout and rheumatism. It is specifically indicated for Respiratory
problems and said to be useful in cases of intestinal disturbances, hepatitis (there is not any
official medical documentation supporting this), inflamed gall bladder, urinary tract infections,
and chronic cystitis. Aromatherapists credit Pine Long Leaf with being refreshing, invigorating,
stimulating, strengthening, and very popular in an Aromatherapy bath to revive tired muscles.

Ravensara Wild - May assist with respiratory problems, colds and flu, canker and cold sores,
cuts, wounds, burns, anti-biotic, liver, lung infections, rhinopharyngitis, flu, sinusitis, viral
hepatitis, cholera, herpes, infectious mononucleosis, insomnia, and muscle fatigue. It is also
viewed as an excellent treatment for athlete's foot. $10.85/5 ml
Rosemary, French - Best-known use is as facial oil for extremely dry skin. It is less stimulating
generally and much less of a mental stimulant, so it can be used in the evening. Rosemary
essential oil nourishes the scalp and keeps hair looking healthy and shiny. Many users claim
that it promotes hair growth, though there is not any medical evidence to support this
argument. It normalizes excessive oil secretions and improves most scalp problems, particularly
dandruff and seborrhea. Rosemary oil is also helpful in treating cellulite. This essential oil
balances intense emotions and controls mood swings. It lifts spirits and counters depression. It
assists in managing stress and overcoming stress-related disorders and nervous exhaustion.

Spruce, Black Wild - Used in baths to revive tired muscles. Spruce Black oil is frequently used
in room sprays, detergents, and in cough and cold preparations. $10.80/5 ml
Tangerine - Like most of the citrus family, can be depended upon for refreshing and
rejuvenating characteristics. Its aroma clears the mind and can help to eliminate emotional
confusion. Considered to be very comforting, soothing and warming. Also used as as an
antispasmodic, carminative, digestive, diuretic, sedative, stimulant (digestive and lymphatic),
and tonic agent. $6.60/5 ml
Tea Tree, Australian - Best known as a very powerful immune stimulant. It can help to fight all
three categories of infectious organisms (Bacteria, Fungi, and Viruses), and there is evidence
that Tea Tree oil massage prior to an operation may help to fortify the body and reduce post-
operative shock, Used in vapor therapy, Tea Tree oil can help with colds, measles, sinusitis
and viral infections. For skin and hair, Tea Tree has been used to combat acne, oily skin, head
lice and dandruff. As essential oils have become more accepted by the public, the use of Tea
Tree has increased significantly. This can be readily evidenced by the commercial products
now using Tea Tree essential oil. $7.75/5 ml
Wintergreen - Has a history of use as a pain reliever. It is also believed to increase the speed
of healing for skin disorders, and when added to lotions, acts as a natural moisturizer. $22.75/5

Ylang Ylang #2 - Can assist with problems such as high blood pressure, rapid breathing and
heartbeat, nervous conditions, as well as impotence and frigidity. Spiritual practitioners claim
that the users of Ylang Ylang are those who have been drawn to the oil, and who in turn, suit it.
