In addition, I received over 100 hours of supervised clinic experience working with the general public, and another 50 hours of experience practicing my "homework" on friends and family (they were willing
to make the sacrifice!).

Other subjects that we studied to prepare us to be excellent body workers were:

Anatomy & Physiology
Anatomy/Applied Anatomy
Pathology
Nutrition
Tai Chi
Ethics & Therapeutic Principles
Practice Building
First Aid/CPR Certification

I graduated at the top of my class in August 2007, and currently am a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT). I have a private practice in Taylorsville, Utah. I am a member of the
AMTA and am NCBTMB
Certified.  I am required by law to receive continuing education to remain in practice, but I would do it
anyway simply for the joy of learning and the desire to provide better, more informed service to my
clients! So far, I have received continuing education credits for:

Russian Massage
Pregnancy Massage
Infant Massage
Kinesiology (Study of muscles and how they work)
Hello! My name is Maria. I am a Licensed Massage
Therapist in the State of Utah. My practice is in the Salt
Lake City area.

I have many years' experience as an office worker, doing every conceivable
task related to that occupation except shorthand.

In 2006 I wanted to make a change and decided to become a Massage
Therapist. I am a graduate of Myotherapy College of Utah. For the time I
was enrolled in college, I studied the following modalities:
American Massage Therapy Association
National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork
